Athletes and coaches during this time have a constant underlying feeling of anxiousness and stress due to COVID-19. Things that we once thought were stable are now unstable. There is uneasiness about paychecks, unpredictable time frames when they will be able to train again and see their teammates, food shortages in grocery shelves, and spending days on end at home, can compound mentally on athletes and coaches. Current Scientific Evidence on COVID-19

Research states that COVID-19 is not a food born illness and nor has there been any documented cases that were infected with COVID-19 through food. Nevertheless, a research article from New England Journal of medicine concluded that COVID-19 can stay active on high risk surfaces. 

Some of the high risk surfaces they suggest are:
